The top three waterproof flooring looks

The top three waterproof flooring looks

Up until recently, your waterproof flooring options were pretty limited. Not any more! Here are three of the top looks.

Luxury vinyl flooring

Luxury vinyl (LVF) offers gorgeous true-to-life images of wood, stone, and ceramic tile. In addition, LVF has a design option that adds even more realism.

It comes cut into planks (LVP) to mimic hardwood boards, or square tile-sized pieces (LVT), mainly used for stone and tile echoes.

All images are taken with 3D photography. As a result, there are depth, dimension, and textured looks.

Waterproof flooring

This is an advanced version of LVF, engineered to be thicker and more durable. In addition, these waterproof floors are constructed with the WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite) cores that offer the highest level of moisture protection.

You have all the same style of LVF. The main difference is the core, however.

WPC and SPC won't peel or ripple, no matter how much water there is or for how long. They are both graded for commercial use, so no worries about scratches, either!

Like LVF, all it needs is a regular sweeping and periodic mopping. But, installation is uncomplicated; the pieces click together, mat, then hover over the subfloor.

Rigid core vinyl plank

If you love the look and feel of hardwood, these floors might be the best waterproof flooring options. This luxury vinyl plank is constructed with the SPC core instead of the traditional one.

The rigid core plank looks exactly like hardwood. However, it also has the solid, sturdy feeling underfoot of a hard surface.
